A section of the King Charles III England Coast Path is closed due to Environment Agency works until the end of August 2024. A diversion is in place.
The diversion runs from Coalhouse Fort northwards along Princess Margaret Road, turning eastwards at public Footpath 147 opposite East Tilbury train station, alongside Gobions park. Picking back up the route of the KCIIIECP at the entrance to the Thameside Nature Reserve. The diversion will take approximately 35 to 40 minutes to walk.
