Until further notice walkers need to follow a temporary diversion between Kirkandrews and Beaumont due to a major land slip into the River Eden. For safety reasons the Public Right of Way has been closed and Trail gates at both ends have been locked. You will come across notices (downloadable from this page) with maps showing the diversion which follows a narrow road.
