When the cruise ship terminal is in use, gates will be closed across the road and pavement. Path users will need to take a short informal diversion around the back of the terminal building.
Please note there is a large double step down from the pavement on the north (Bootle) side of the terminal, which is necessary to use the diversion. Some path users may wish to take the first available crossing of Princes Parade, to approach the cruise terminal on the lower (city) side of the road in case the diversion is necessary.
