This route describes a very pleasant link between Filey and Helmsley to allow you to return on foot to the start point and add a few days of walking. The return route is 55 miles long and takes in some lovely sections of Yorkshire Wolds Way National Trail, the Centenary Way and the Ebor Way. The route passes through the Market Town of Malton, which is having something of a revival as a destination for great food and drink. It also passes Kirkham Abbey and takes you through the beautiful Howardian Hills.
