Scenic rural stretch of National Cycle Network route 403 linking Marlborough town centre to Great Bedwyn where there is a mainline train station and the cycle route along the Kennet and Avon Canal.
Whilst the route predominantly follows country lanes, there is a pleasant 4 mile off-road stretch along the 'Grand Avenue' passing through ancient Savernake Forest.
