The King Charles III England Coast Path has been rolled back onto the lower path here. The public footpath is still temporarily diverted due to a collapsed seawall. At very high tides, when the lower path is inundated, please use alternative in-land route via Hook Park Lane and public footpath 11.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council, having made an Order under Section 14(1)a of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to allow for works in connection with the sea wall and path, has been directed by the Secretary of State for Transport that the order shall continue in force as follows:

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From 10.04.2025 for a period of 12 months or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
