An 7.5 mile circular walk from The Sill - the UK’s National Landscape Discovery Centre. Here you will find exhibitions, a local food cafe, and a local crafts and produce shop.
Highlights of the walk include Hadrian’s Wall, Housesteads Roman Fort and Visitor Centre, Roman Military Way, Stanegate Roman Road, Roman Vindolanda and The Sill: National Landscape Discovery Centre.
Takes approximately 4 to 4.5 hours plus browsing time. The walk is strenuous with several steep slopes. Take care along roads and at road crossings.
